What is it?

Tropical Finch Breeding Mixture has been formulated for Tropical & Foreign Finches during the breeding phase of their life-cycle. The seed mixture contains a higher amount of seeds richer in protein which is an essential component to birds during the breeding phase of their life-cycle. Tropical Finch Breeding Mixture also contains a higher amount of grass seeds than many of the other seed mixtures available on the market today. With the majority of Finches being”Grass Seed Eating birds” in the their natural environment, we feel that it is important to mimic bird’s natural conditions of food availability as closely as possible for the best results, and more importantly for happier and healthier birds.

When do I feed it?

Begin feeding Tropical Finch Breeding Mixture 6 weeks prior to breeding and for the  duration of the breeding season. This mixture can also be fed during the molting phase of the birds life-cycle.

Ingredients:

Canary Seed, White Millet, Yellow Panicum, Yellow Millet, Red Panicum, White Grass Seed, Red Millet, Pinhead Oats, Japanese Millet & Niger Seed.

Tropical Finch Breeding Mixture is available in 5kg bags or 15kg (x3 5kg bags). We hope to be able to offer the full sized 15kg bag during 2017.
