Phalaris Aquatica seed grows in Australia; its a small seed that has a soft shell making it an excellent choice to offer to juvenile birds that are at the weaning stage of their development. Phalaris is loved by our own Gouldian and Waxbill finches, it is also included in our specialized “Gouldian & Australian finch Breeding” seed mixture, which is designed to create a closer dietary match for the food availability of wild Australian finches.
